The theme that I would say connects my three stories for my Tell project would be that they are all huge accomplishments that I have made in my life that have helped me become the person I am today.In my first story I talk about how I was afraid to take on one of the major leads of the Wizard of Oz as the Cowardly Lion because of all the obstacles I would need to overcome. Because of taking on that role, I can now perform in front of any crowd without terrible stage fright anymore. My second story about the present was about how I was nervous to attend my first special education class in case I realized it was not something I wanted to be. Now, I am even more sure of how much I want to be a special education teacher and if I had second guessed my choice and not have gone to that class than I would be in the wrong career path at the moment. The story about my future is about how one day when I am in my own special education classroom where I make a difference in a student's life. That will be one of the ultimate accomplishments for me because that is one of the main reasons why i wanted to become a teacher in the first place: to help people. Without these three stories I would not have been the same person I am today. Because I overcome the obstacles that were put in front of me I am now a stronger and more accomplished person standing here today. I hope that in the future in that moment where I do help a student for my first time, I'll feel that same sense of pride and accomplishment in myself that will help remind me that I am exactly where I should be.
